Children and young people may not attend school regularly for a variety of reasons: illness, pregnancy, behavioral difficulties, and fixed period or permanent exclusions. Results are from the research done with Center for Promotion and Education QPEA for the Conference of Council of Europe on Local partnerships for preventing and combating violence at school”. The project has been set up to respond to the acute concerns about violence and its effects in Europe by mobilizing the resources and considerable experience of the Council of Europe related to the theme. In partnership with other international organizations and NGOs, its primary objective is to help decision-makers and other protagonists involved to implement comprehensive policies for combating violence while respecting human rights and the rule of law. The focus is on transversal efforts to prepare and disseminate useful implementation tools which are easily available to all who need them.
Teenage parents
Most teenage mothers and fathers leave school at the minimum age with few or no qualifications, leaving those disadvantaged in the labor market throughout their adult life. Teenagers who become parents should not lose out on opportunities for completing their education.
Schools, government and social services departments should work together to provide support for mothers of compulsory school age, both during the pregnancy and after the baby is born. Support should be directed to keeping the pupil in her school, and to her return as soon as possible to full-time education at the school. Pregnancy is never a reason for exclusion from school. A girl should stay in education during pregnancy unless personal or medical circumstances make other arrangements necessary
Sick children
Sick children should be enabled to benefit from as much education as their illness allows. Depending on individual circumstances, this could range from little or no provision for a child who is seriously ill, to a full timetable for other children.
Both Educations
Young parents both with their children will be able to learn in future in the same class! Based on their ability to continue their education and with impressing of society for their future.
Alternative
The biggest alternative of this is through distance learning where the people (young parents) will continue learning in technical ways with computer! This is a great opportunity for the people who quit the schooling, failed on it and dismissed.
Online Education
As citizens we should open and encourage the online enviroment educational platform to help people to access into education from their home. Encourage the change on civil society and education in non formal sector.
