Republic of Kosovo Passports

Republic of Kosovo on 18th July will start issuing passports to Kosovo citizens. Passports are developed by Giesecke & Devrient GmbH company in Leipzig, Germany. With the new passport citizens of Kosovo can travel to countries that recognised Republic of Kosovo, including Macedonia and Montenegro who yet did not recognized Republic but accepts Kosovan passport due to economic reasons.

Update: Macedonia and Montenegro recognized Republic of Kosovo on 9th October 2008. Some sources report that citizens holding Kosovo Passport were able to enter also in Iraq and Israel.

hmm, qe sa kesh tu i lexu lajmet per passports. pse ne RTK po thote 21st of July? Anyways, per me apliku, duhet me qene prezent personalisht?

Am mundesh me i dorzue dokumentat e udhtimit per njè fèmij pa prind e tyre nè Kosovè, me autorizim nga ana e prindve ?

Holders of UNMIK Travel Document are conditioned to deliver the travel document in order to get the Republic of Kosovo passport. This can bring problems to people who have valid residence permits and tourist visas.

E kam dorezu aplikacionin te henen me 21korrik 2008 me jan nevojitur shume dokumenta shume paqartsi pagesa ne disa banka ka qene 31 euro ne disa 25 e 1 euro sherbime 26 painformim total burokraci deri ne piken e fundit shtyrje sharje gjithqka sot isha ne web te ministris asnje te re se din kush si duken keto pasaporta edhe nje fotografite qe ndodhen ne keto pasaporta jan te vitit 2000 2001 plus qe 8 vite perdoren te njejtat fotografi plus 10 vite afat ka ne pasaport Dmth 18 vite personi ndryshon pamjen e fetyres po ashtu isha ne zyren 22 ne komune ku ipen passaportat pritje e ftoft nga stafi nuk jan ba pasaportat duhet me ndryshu gjithqka ne kosove

mir dita jam per gjermanie vetem deshta me ju pyt se me kan tregu do shok qe u qel konsullata e kosoves ne münchen po nuk e di se se asht sahi ju lutem per nje pytje flm

How it’s possible for those who has to come from abroad to get that new passport to give the old one away, those who are haviing stamp of permit of residence? How they’ll get back to home?

VM, It is possible, they will give you back the old passport which you have validity of permit and you have to travel with both passports until you have the new permit in new passport. They mark invalid only the first and last page of passport and they dont break the permit.

Its functioning this way.

ne kosov osht shum problem te thojn shko merre ni leter tjter tani kur et shkoj te aj thot jo nuk te kom than per ket leter po oper tjter shum problem ne kosov veq ishalla bohet mir se niher shum keq osht ok tung labi nga londra qao

doja te dija per te kaluar kufirin nga Shqiperia per ne Kosove duhet te jem patjeter e pajisur me pashaporte apo mund te kaloj edhe me karten e identitetit.faleminderit
